For many years the Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company has been a supporter of the annual homecoming football game at Simsbury High School by providing Engine 1 to lead the homecoming parade through the center of Simsbury and around the football field at the high school. With the introduction of a new football field along with a new running track surface, the use of Engine 1 was no longer feasible and a gap in our visible support began for two years.
