On March 19, 2008, members
of the Simsbury Ladies Auxiliary went to visit Honorary Life
Member Marion Kerr in honor of her 97th birthday. In addition to
some flowers, a card and a cake, members presented her with a
Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company blanket.
Marion Kerr was one
of the original members when the Ladies Auxiliary was founded in
1945 and she remained active until becoming an Honorary Member
in 2001! Her son Mark Kerr is still active with the Fire Company
after 46 years of service.
Congratulations and
Happy Birthday Marion!
