On the evening of
May 7, 2008, Fire Company Members, family and friends
gathered at
Weatogue Station
for a promotion ceremony. Firefighter Jay Dixon was appointed to
the rank of Lieutenant and will be assigned to Weatogue Station. The Simsbury
Volunteer Fire Company congratulates Lieutenant Dixon on his promotion and wishes
him all the
best with his new duties.
