On the evening of June 23, 2010, members of the Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company, members of the Ladies Auxiliary along with family and friends, gathered at Weatogue Station for a promotion ceremony. Lieutenant Jay Dixon was promoted to the rank of Captain and assigned to lead Weatogue Station.
Congratulations to Captain Dixon on his promotion! We wish him all the best with his new duties.

In conjunction with Captain Dixon's promotion, Captain Adam Libros was reassigned as Captain of Weatogue Station to Captain of West Simsbury Station. Congratulations also to Captain Libros!

The Connecticut Firefighters Pipers lead the Company Honor Guard into the hall.
