A 1994 E-One pumper
with a 1,500 GPM, single-stage pump. Engine 8 carries 1,000
gallons of water and 50 gallons of Class A foam concentrate.
This apparatus is equipped with a
foam-capable bumper turret that is fully controllable from the driver's seat
via a joystick control unit. Carries a standard load-out of
supply, attack and hard-suction hoses, and ground ladders.
Equipped with typical engine company tools.
Engine 8 was the
apparatus in the department to feature a cab that not only
seated eight fire fighters, but also tilted forward to allow for
easy access to the motor and transmission.
